We invite you to join us for an inspiring celebration to honor this year’s graduates. The All-University Commencement will take place at Nickerson Field (285 Babcock St) and will feature speeches from President Melissa Gilliam, the Commencement Speaker, and the Student Speaker. The ceremony will also include presentations to the Honorary Degree Recipients and Metcalf Award winners, and the conferring of degrees. Graduates of the Class of 2025 will be seated at the All-University Commencement with their respective school/college and recognized collectively. Eligible graduates are encouraged to attend the All-University Commencement, their respective school/college convocations, and all other weekend events.
The All-University Commencement will include ASL interpretation and closed captioning. For those who cannot attend the in-person ceremony at Nickerson Field, a livestream with CART transcription will be available on our website. For those who can join us at Nickerson Field, tickets are required. Learn more about how the graduates can register for themselves and their guests.
Please note that the tickets are ONLY required for the All-University Commencement on May 18. School/college convocations will not require tickets for family and friends wishing to attend and there will be no limit to the number of guests graduates may bring to the convocation. The convocation is the ceremony where graduates are individually recognized by having their names called as they cross the stage and handed the diploma cover.
