Program Features

  • Customize your program of study: take language skills-focused classes at your level and 2 elective classes
  • Take advantage of university admissions resources, including free college advising and TOEFL waivers to Boston-area universities and colleges
  • Experience life on a university campus through optional Boston University on-campus housing
  • Engage with BU undergraduate and graduate students through student organizations, activities, and sporting events

Curriculum

  • Take skills courses at your individual language level in speaking and listening and academic reading and writing
  • Choose from elective courses in areas such as business communication, STEM, media news, Boston and American culture, or test preparation
  • Develop skills for global competency and intercultural communication including teamwork, problem solving, critical thinking, and more
  • Join activities such as team research projects, guest speakers, and field trips

Class Schedule

This 12 week program is divided into two 6 week terms.
Students participate in 2 skills classes 5 mornings per week and two elective classes 4 afternoons per week (Monday through Thursday):
