About
I am a third-year Neuroscience major on the pre-medical track with interests in bilingualism, cognitive science, and clinical neuroscience. As an Intern at the CBR, I work on the English-Korean Bilingual Verbal Fluency Project, studying cognitive flexibility and lexical retrieval in bilingual speakers. I also serve as an Intern for the C.H.A.T. Aphasia Resource Group, where I develop engagement resources to support individuals with aphasia. Beyond research, I have experience in clinical volunteering, supporting underserved communities and pediatric patients. In the future, I plan to attend medical school and pursue a career in psychiatry or research, integrating neuroscience with clinical practice to improve patient care.
Research Interests: I am interested in how bilingualism affects cognition, particularly in language processing and cognitive flexibility. I am also curious about bilingual aphasia and language recovery, as well as the effects of drugs on the brain, especially in relation to mental health and neurological disorders.
