PhD Student

About
Sharon Wang is a behavioral neuroscience PhD student at the Center for Brain Recovery. She is broadly interested in improving assessment strategies in patients with cognitive-linguistic impairments. One project she has been working on is developing a fully automated pipeline to generate speech features from discourse audio samples. Additionally, she is broadly interested in the predictors of aphasia recovery and how this work can translate to the clinic to provide patients with a better estimation of their recovery trajectory.

Research Interests
Automated cognitive/linguistic assessment, particularly with discourse analysis and predictors of aphasia recovery

Current Projects
Automated detection of aphasia project, Machine learning neuroimaging project
