A team of Computer Science students from the BUILDS program placed in the top ten out of 74 teams in the first round of the CSAW Capture The Flag Cybersecurity Competition.

The competition is a contest designed to evaluate application security skills. Competitors attack vulnerable applications and solve offensive challenges. BUILDS is a student-run research lab and workshop that provides BU students with tools and resources for conducting collaborative student-led tech projects.

By placing in the top ten, the team earned a spot for a four-person team for the finals in New York City in early November.
