CAS IN 399 – Application

Applications for the Spring 2026 section of CAS IN 399 will open on October 23, 2026.

All submissions from students with off-campus internship offers will be reviewed on a rolling basis, until the course is full. Interested students are encouraged to apply as soon as an internship offer is secured. International students must apply in time to have their CPT request approved before starting the course. (CPT requests take approximately 10 business days to review.) No students will be admitted to IN 399 after the add/drop deadline for spring (February 2, 2026).

Before beginning this application, be sure to:

  1. review the eligibility requirements and other important information detailed on the CAS IN 399 page
  2. confirm that you are required to be registered for a course in order to intern (either because you are an international student or because the internship site requires it)
  3. attend the IN 399 Information Session or satisfy that requirement in an alternative way by contacting casel@bu.edu
  4. obtain a completed Internship Confirmation Form from your supervisor (you will be required to attach the completed form to your application)

International students will need to demonstrate appropriate authorizations before beginning the internship.
