Todd Kwait (CAS’81) of Cleveland, Ohio, and Rob Stegman (COM’81) of Needham, Mass., coproduced their fourth feature documentary, Truth is the Only Client: The Official Investigation into the Murder of President John F. Kennedy. The film “is the definitive history of the assassination and the subsequent Warren Commission investigation, featuring accounts of surviving staff members, former district attorney Vincent Bugliosi, and figures connected to the event,” Rob writes. The film premiered in Dallas on September 22, 2019, the 55th annivesary of the release of the Warren Report, with a subsequent screening at the Capitol in Washington, D.C., on October 23, 2019. The filmmaking duo, who met as freshmen in Warren Towers, previously produced Pack Up Your Sorrows (2015), the story of Somerville folk singer Meg Hutchinson (STH’18); Tom Rush: No Regrets (2013), a biography of the iconic folk singer; and For the Love of the Music (2012), a history of Club 47 and the Cambridge folk music revival.
