Tiz Arnold (Wheelock’11) of San Antonio, Tex., published Why Didn’t Somebody Tell Me This Sooner? Lessons You Should Learn (by the Time You’re a Teenager) to Lead a Better Life (PublishDrive, 2024), a self-help book for tweens and teens—though “parents would benefit from reading it too,” she adds. Tiz pulled her advice from her education in sports psychology and the experience she gained working on US Army and Air Force human performance contracts.
