Sheila Curran Bernard (COM’79) of Delmar, N.Y., published Bring Judgment Day: Reclaiming Lead Belly’s Truths from Jim Crow’s Lies (Cambridge University Press, 2024). The book was written with support from a 2021–2022 Public Scholars award from the National Endowment for the Humanities.
