Sabrina Horn
Sabrina Horn (COM’85) of Manhasset, N.Y., a communications expert, C-suite advisor, and an entrepreneur and award-winning CEO, published Make It, Don’t Fake It: Leading with Authenticity for Real Business Success (Berrett-Koehler Publishers, 2021). “My book aims to help entrepreneurs and execs lead their businesses with integrity and resist the temptation to ‘fake it till you make it,’ which only sabotages successes,” she says. “As a PR person in Silicon Valley and a CEO with no leadership training, I certainly saw and participated in my fair share of fakery. My mistakes and lessons learned are the stories that provide the backdrop to the actionable advice, mental maps, strategies, and tools to help others be successful.” Sabrina founded Horn Group, a public relations firm that advised executives and their companies. In 2015, she oversaw her firm’s acquisition by Finn Partners, a global marketing company. Today, she is CEO of HORN Strategy, LLC, a consultancy focused on helping entrepreneurs and CEOs navigate the early stages of their businesses. Sabrina also is a member of the Boston University Alumni Council.
