Robert Bird

Robert Bird (LAW’96, Questrom’98) of Berlin, Conn., is a professor of business law and the Eversource Energy Chair in Business Ethics at the University of Connecticut School of Business. His new book, Legal Knowledge in Organizations: A Source of Strategic and Competitive Advantage (Cambridge University Press, 2025), highlights how lawyers, in-house counsel, and compliance professionals can use their legal expertise as a source of value in the corporate setting.
