Michelle Manes (Wheelock’93) of Honolulu, Hawaii, copublished Linear Algebra and Geometry (MAA Press, 2019) with Bowen Kerins (Wheelock’97) of Salem, Mass., and Kevin Waterman (Wheelock’04) of Waltham, Mass. The book is organized around carefully sequenced problems that help students build both the tools and the habits that provide a solid basis for further study in mathematics.
