Melissa Maxwell (CFA’85) (right) of New York, N.Y., received favorable reviews for her turns as Gertrude in Hamlet (pictured) and Beatrice in Much Ado About Nothing at the 2024 Great River Shakespeare Festival in Winona, Minn. Melissa, the co-associate artistic director of the festival, was lauded by talkinbroadway.com for her “phenomenally funny physical machinations” and “tremendous” performance. She is an actor and educator, as well as a director, writer, and motivational speaker.
