Leslie Schupak
Leslie Schupak (CGS’65, COM’67,’71) of Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla., was honored by the Metropolitan Golf Writers Association with a 2025 Dave Anderson Spotlight Award at a ceremony on October 7 at Westchester Country Club in Rye, N.Y. The award is presented to individuals in the golf community in recognition of their service to the game. Leslie, a 1997 BU Distinguished Alumni Award winner, is a past president of the Metropolitan Golf Association, a former governor of the Arizona Golf Association, a director of the First Tee of Metropolitan New York, an officer and a director of the Metropolitan Golf Writers Association, and a member of the Florida State Golf Association. He is an active member of the Golf Writers Association of America and in 2016 received an International Network of Golf Media Awards Outstanding Achievement honor in the opinion/editorial category. He met his wife, Dianne (Wheelock’69), at BU.
