Kris (Bienkowski) Szabo (Wheelock’92) of Southbury, Conn., published two children’s books in 2024: You’re Pawsome, Bailey Buckets! and Hug in a Box: The Gift of Giving from the Heart. Both stories are designed to “inspire young readers to love themselves, embrace others, and appreciate the beauty in our differences,” she writes.
