Justin Maaia (GRS’03) of Alexandria, Va., published Starting Points for Teaching World Religions: Content, Skills, and Habits of Mind for Understanding, Relationship, and Self-Awareness (Center for Spiritual and Ethical Education, 2025), which he hopes will help teachers and religious studies majors and minors orient themselves around “this complex, interdisciplinary field,” he writes.
