Jessi Maduro and Julia Kaplan
Jessi Maduro (CAS’16, Pardee’16) (far right) and Julia Kaplan (Pardee’15) (far left) of Washington Crossing, Pa., were married in Italy on September 24, 2025. The pair shared a major and several classes at BU, but had never met. Six other Terriers attended the wedding: Ali Chunovic (CAS’13) (from left), Boey Li (CAS’15), Jonathan Lerch (CAS’17), Erin O’N e i l (CAS’16), Gianna Sabidussi (CAS’16), and Christina Yannatos (Sargent’16). Sarah Moran-Lerch (CGS’14, MET’16), who died earlier in 2025, was there in spirit, Jessi writes, adding, “Together, the group was a central part of the BU Gymnastics Club from 2012 to 2017. #WeBleedScarlet!”
