Jerry Pi

Jerry Pi (Pardee’99) of Flushing, N.Y., completed an expansion of the Browning School in New York City in the fall of 2025, adding a modern high school wing. Jerry credits BU’s economics program with giving him the tools to understand the complexities of New York City real estate development, “particularly the interplay between market cycles, financing structures, and long-term urban planning,” he writes. “Those lessons continue to shape [my] career as a developer.” Jerry’s next project is a 90,000-square-foot, multifamily rental building on Fifth Avenue in Manhattan.
