Gail (Wolfson) Brown
Gail (Wolfson) Brown (Wheelock’72, ’99, SSW’98) of East Falmouth, Mass., retired at the end of 2021. “I am very proud of the professional preparation and knowledge I gained during my course of studies,” she writes. “I have worked in the public and nonprofit sector concentrating in early education, childcare, special education, and early childhood mental health, with work for Brookline Public Schools and metro/southeastern Massachusetts…. I withdrew from the EdD program and continued to work my two jobs in the public/private sector, which I did for some 24 years. I was privileged to be hired by the Brookline Early Education Project—a research project sponsored by Harvard, Boston Children’s Hospital, and Brookline Public Schools—upon graduating with my master’s back in the early 1970s.”
