Eric Wickfield

Eric Wickfield (Questrom’90) (left) of Ivins, Utah, received the Federal Aviation Administration’s 2024 Wright Brothers Master Pilot Award. The award is the highest honor issued by the FAA and recognizes pilots who have practiced safe flight operations continuously for 50 or more years, exhibited exemplary aviation expertise and professionalism, and made overall contributions to aviation safety. In addition to a distinguished aviation career, Eric is an author and a speaker on oceanic operations and aviation safety issues. He was presented with the award by FAA inspector Robert Jeffs at a ceremony attended by local dignitaries, friends, colleagues, and his wife, Leslie, who is also
a distinguished aviator.
