Elise Trumbull (Wheelock’73,’84) of San Rafael, Calif., coauthored a commentary featured in Culturally Responsive Assessment in Classrooms and Large-Scale Contexts (Routledge, 2025) in March and, in May, coauthored a commentary in Socioculturally Responsive Assessment (Taylor and Francis, 2025). “These books are excellent resources for anyone concerned with cultural validity in student assessment—both large-scale and classroom,” she writes.
