Eli Sachse

Eli Sachse (CAS’01) of Merced, Calif., published his first book, Next-Level Ally: How to Support Your Queer and Transgender Friends (Microcosm Publishing, 2026). “Next-Level Ally helps all people explore how they can meaningfully and mindfully perform acts of service that uplift marginalized and maligned people,” he writes. “Transgender people in particular are under attack across the country. Now is the time to explore the solutions offered by queer and trans artists, authors, and activists.” Eli draws on years of experience in activist spaces and as a registered public health nurse.
