Demetrios Giannaros

Demetrios Giannaros (GRS’76,’81) of Farmington, Conn., was inducted into the National Immigrant Heritage Center’s Immigrant Heritage Hall of Fame in September. Demetrios is a former senior teaching fellow at BU and has served for decades on the economics faculties of Suffolk University, as an assistant professor, and the University of Hartford, as a professor. He is a former member of the Connecticut House of Representatives, representing the state’s 21st district from 1995 to 2011.
