David Lawton
David Lawton (CFA’82) of New York, N.Y., formed the band Hydrogen Junkbox along with New York poets Aimee Herman and Eric Alter. In May, they released a debut collection of songs, Pixie Dust, where they “mix existing poems together into lyrics, prompt each other with new song ideas, harmonize and vocalize while accompanying themselves on ukulele and kazoo, and make rhythm with cookie tins and various kitchen utensils,” he writes. “It is lo-fi, antifolk fun.”
