Carol Delaney

Carol Delaney (CAS’62) of Providence, R.I., taught at Stanford University for 18 years and is retired. After graduating from BU with a degree in philosophy, she earned an MTS at Harvard Divinity School, in 1976, and a PhD from the University of Chicago, in 1984. She’s published several books, including Columbus and the Quest for Jerusalem: How Religion Drove the Voyages that Led to America (Free Press, 2012).
