Bonnie Discepolo

Bonnie Discepolo (CFA’03) of Los Angeles, Calif., wrote in December that her film Neo-Dome—“a pulpy, fun, noir Western that is not about war or racism and definitely will not make you cry”—was long-listed for an Oscar for Best Live Action Short 2026. Neo-Dome, which stars Anna Camp (True Blood), won a Grand Jury Prize at the 2024 Nashville Film Festival. “We have about a .000000002 percent chance of moving to the next round,” she wrote, “but I’m proud that an action flick is in consideration."
