Benjamin Bahan

Benjamin Bahan (Wheelock’87, GRS’96) of Frederick, Md., played a key leadership role in the development of a monolingual American sign language (ASL) dictionary. The project was presented in July 2025 at the American Sign Language Teachers Association Conference at Gallaudet University in Washington, D.C. Benjamin co-edited the volume and contributed his years of experience in ASL linguistics, storytelling, and Deaf culture to its formation.
