Audrey Leland (Questrom’24) of Boston, Mass., writes that she launched Illuminated Threads, “a socially conscious clothing brand that combines fashion and education by turning data into wearable art. Each piece features embroidered or printed data visualizations on pressing social issues, such as inclusion, climate change, and gun safety. Illuminated Threads is designed to make complex information visible and accessible through everyday clothing. Every garment tells a story, sparks conversation, and directs a portion of each purchase to nonprofit organizations working directly in these areas.”
