Ashley (Williams) Ellis (COM’94) of Montgomery, Ohio, is marketing director for Cure Blindness Project, a nongovernmental organization. In early 2025, she embarked on a two-week trip to Kenya, where she worked with City Eye Hospital and participated in community screening camps. “It’s difficult to put into words the joy of seeing someone who regains his or her sight,” she writes. “It’s something that will always stay with me.” Email Ashley at aellis@cureblindness.org.
