Andrew Plotkin (DGE’67, CAS’69, COM’71, GRS’77) of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., coauthored The EcoSociology Action Guide: A Hands-On Guide to Transforming the World (2025), with sociologists William Tarman-Ramcheck and Alecea Standlee. He also coauthored Creating Life Before Death: Before Disaster Strikes the Ship of State (Sociological Imagination Publishing, 2nd ed., 2024) with several colleagues, including Bernard Phillips, a BU College of Arts & Sciences professor emeritus of sociology.
