Alex Joyner

Alex Joyner (Sargent’14) of Farmville, N.C., ran for mayor of his 4,500-person community and won, unseating three-term incumbent John Moore with 53 percent of the vote. Alex, who moved to Farmville in 2022, is a corporate manager and first-time elected official.
