Emergency BU Alert BU Alert: Winter Weather Closure Update – Campuses Remain Closed 2/24/26, Reopening 2/25/26 Due the continued effects of the blizzard, including limited transportation infrastructure and power outages throughout the state, Boston University’s Charles River, Fenway, and Medical Campuses will remain closed on Tuesday, February 24, with limited services being offered. Alex Delano

Alex Delano (CFA’18) of Los Angeles, Calif., quit her 9-to-5 job in 2022 to freelance full-time “for only people and companies whose values align with mine,” she writes. “This led me to digital agency oakpool.” Alex was made creative director and partner in January; she was a producer on the agency’s documentary project Meko, about a climate change refugee in the Bahamas. The project is backed by Larry Weinberg (COM’86), a lecturer at BU’s College of Communication.
