Deborah Birx Visits BU Clinical Testing Lab

Deborah Birx, coordinator of the White House Coronavirus Task Force, visited Boston University on October 9, 2020. Birx (left) and Irum Zaidi, Birx’s chief epidemiologist (second from right), toured BU’s Clinical Testing Lab at the Rajen Kilachand Center for Integrated Life Sciences & Engineering. They were joined by BU President Robert Brown (right) and BU Clinical Testing Lab head Catherine Klapperich (second from left), a BU College of Engineering professor of biomedical engineering.
