To protect, not serve: Wildlife author and activist Karl Ammann holds a baby gorilla he rescued from poachers in central Africa. Ammann will be speaking at BU on Tuesday, April 3, as part of a college tour sponsored by the Chimfunshi Wildlife Orphanage and Chimpanzee Sanctuary in Zambia to raise awareness about the bushmeat crisis. Ammann will be featured on the April 3 airing of the PBS series Scientific American Frontiers. His latest book, Eating Ape, will be published later this year. Photo courtesy of Chimfunshi
