Stage II: Annual Confirmation

Stage II begins with a memo and notification indicating that the Board has approved and the University has a Trustee approved Budget.  Once this is confirmed, the process of realigning the approved funds will begin.  There are two steps to be completed:

Step 1: Confirm Budget

Step 2: Confirm Position Budget alignment

All realignments requested must be submitted by Wednesday, July 22nd in order to be properly reflected in the next Stage I process. Separate realignment request forms should be used for all adjustments as follows:

  • Stage II salary and non-salary realignments – Budget Realignment Request Forms:
    1. Same commitment item realignments between fund centers
    2. Realignments between expense commitment items only
    3. Realignments between income commitment items only
      • All Academic areas:
        1. Must realign initiative funding in 1XX0010000
        2. Additional Provost approval required for any new positions included in initiative funding
