Soey Sut leng Lei

Soey Sut leng Lei, Ph.D., is currently a lecturer at Macao Institute for Tourism Studies. She is also the founding member of Macao Tourism and Hospitality Association and a board member of APacCHRIE. Before pursuing her Ph.D. study at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Soey worked in sales and marketing for leading hotel and resort brands including JW Marriott and Galaxy Macau. During her master’s study at University of Macau, she was a graduate assistant in the Faculty of Hospitality and Gaming Management. Soey’s research interests include impact of technology innovations on consumer behavior in the tourism and hospitality industry, with a particular focus on mobile application and digital marketing. Her research has been published in international journals such as Tourism Management, International Journal of Hospitality Management, International Journal of Contemporary Hospitality Management, and Journal of Hospitality and Tourism Research.
