Ravi S. Ramani, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor of Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management in the Earl G. Graves School of Business and Management at Morgan State University. Research interests include career development, progression, and outcomes; management education and scholarly impact; and organizational research methods. His work has received Best Paper awards from the Entrepreneurship and Management Education and Development divisions of the Academy of Management. He has published in Academy of Management Annals, Academy of Management Learning & Education, Academy of Management Perspectives, Journal of International Business Studies, Journal of Management, Organizational Research Methods, and elsewhere.

Previously, Ravi worked in Human Resources for Hilton, serving as the Director for Learning and Talent Development at the Waldorf Astoria. His business experience includes roles in hotel operations, organizational learning, executive coaching, talent development, recruitment, labor negotiations, compensation and benefits, and revenue management.
