Rebekah Gensure, MD, PhD

Dr. Rebekah H. Gensure, M.D., Ph.D. completed her M.D. and Ph.D. degrees at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, and Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, with an emphasis on medical image analysis, machine learning, and informatics. She completed ophthalmology residency at the John A. Moran Eye Center / University of Utah and vitreoretinal surgery fellowship at Casey Eye Institute at the Oregon Health & Science University. Rebekah is a highly skilled and compassionate retina specialist dedicated to providing exceptional care to patients with complex eye conditions. Outside of the operating room, Dr. Gensure is involved in education, research, and outreach through an adjunct faculty appointment with the University of Utah Moran Eye Center, continuously exploring new ways to improve outcomes for patients.
