fter graduating from Georgetown in 2001, I worked with Dr. Ian Rifkin at BMC before joining the PhD program at BUMC. During my PhD, I worked with Dr. Ann Marshak-Rothstein and Dr. Greg Viglianti on toll-like receptors in autoimmunity. I then did a postdoc in the lab of Dr. Adolfo Garcia-Sastre at Mount Sinai School of Medicine, focusing on mouse models to study innate immunity and viral infection. I then transitioned to a program management role for an influenza contract with US and international collaborators. In 2021, I joined Regeneron Pharmaceuticals and now manage a research group that works on early stage tech dev projects including producing mouse strains that make Ab-like therapeutics, optimizing immunizations for desired therapeutics, engineering alternative Ab formats, and developing animals models of complex diseases.
