Science Policy: AAAS Mini-CASE Webinar on Advocacy during the Pandemic on June 4
Thursday, June 4, the AAAS Office of Government Relations will be hosting a webinar for students interested in learning more about science policy and how the pandemic has impacted the way we advocate. “Mini-CASE Webinar: S&T Policy During COVID-19” will be a two-hour session re-purposing several elements of the annual workshop to directly focus on the impact of COVID-19 on the federal R&D budget, academia and the research enterprise, and individual scientists.

What to Expect: Students will receive a brief overview of federal policy-making processes, the impact that the COVID-19 pandemic is having on these processes, and the outlook moving forward. The webinar will end with a Q&A with our speakers.
Audience: This webinar is intended for our 2020 CASE students and other undergraduate and graduate students interested in learning about the role of science in policy-making during the COVID-19 pandemic.
