Job Description

Boston University School of Medicine and Metropolitan College is hiring part-time course educators to teach evening courses on the Medical Campus. Spring 2020. Not benefits eligible. No relocation support or visa support is available for these positions.

 

GMS BT 210 Medical Writing in Clinical Research [4 credits]

Pre-requisites:  GMS BT 560 GCP or equivalent or consent of program director.

 

This course introduces students to the structure, content, and regulatory requirements of documents created for the clinical research industry. Students learn about FDA regulations and ICH guidelines for drugs and biologics, the AMA Manual of Style, and other common industry standards. Students learn to apply these industry standards to compose clinical research documents such as a clinical study protocol, informed consent form, and clinical study results.

 

This course will be offered in Spring 2020.  Course educators are expected to develop and teach the course. The course educator will collaborate with the Director of Biomedical Laboratory & Clinical Sciences Program.

 

Required Skills

Ideal candidates will have the following qualifications: prior teaching experience, biomedical research experience, ability to teach at the undergraduate level.
