Bio: Hello everyone, my name is Ken and I am the current Battery section leader for the fall. I’ve been playing drums for about 5 years now and currently am a marching snare player. Marching band is incredibly fun, but outside of rehearsals, I’ll be listening to music (jazz fusion, jpop, rock), playing video games (silksong hype), practicing kendo in the BU kendo club, or eating out. I also love to travel so if you ever plan on going to Japan, let me know! This is going to be my first year as section leader for the BU Bands but I’m excited to start meeting new and old faces!

What is your favorite part of being a band member? The best part is easily the people. Being able to meet and perform with so many different people is such a fulfilling experience that you rarely get anywhere else. Not only that but being part of a section and seeing yourself and each other grow into better players is unbeatable. Also you get to go to Pennsylvania for a weekend for free. Where else are you gonna get a better deal?
