Bio: Hi folks, I’m Josh! I am a sophomore majoring in Human Physiology. I have played trombone for 8 years now and have recently learned how to play the tuba! I plan on playing the tuba for the marching band season and the later winter winds season, but I’m staying on trombone for pep band. I LOVE music and am constantly trying to discover new genres, so feel free to send me a song or album recommendation!
What is your favorite part of being a band member? My favorite part about being in the band is bringing the energy wherever we go. Wherever we may be, whether it be at our regularly scheduled game performances for the pep band or traveling for the marching band, I always feel us bring the energy out of any crowd we perform for. I love being able to bring that energy out of people because it makes me feel like I’ve fulfilled my purpose being a band member.
