Avani Mehra

Bio: Hi! I’m Avani, and I’m a senior majoring in Business Administration with a concentration in Operations and Supply Chain Management. I’ve been heavily involved in BU Bands since my freshman year, when I first joined the color guard. I am also a photographer for the Pep Band! Outside of BU Bands, I’m the Director of Finance for BosMUN XXV, BU’s high school Model UN Conference. In my free time, I can be found listening to music, playing Tears of the Kingdom, or working on a random art project. I am so excited for another great year with the BU Bands!

What is your favorite part of being a band member? My favorite part of being in band is definitely the people. Everyone’s so supportive and fun to be around — it makes me look forward to anything band-related! The BU Bands has such a great community, and I’ve made some of my closest friends here.
