Adam Godel

Pep Band Trombone Section Leader

Hometown: West Hartford, Connecticut

Bio: I’m Adam, one of the pep band trombone section leaders! I’ve been playing trombone for 10 years, and I’ve been in pep band since my freshman year. I am majoring in math and computer science and minoring in French and Core. Outside of pep band, I am Director of Engineering for BU Hack4Impact and Director of Events for the BU Word & Way Society. I am also very involved in quantum computing research as a research fellow with the US Naval Nuclear Laboratory. Feel free to say hi whenever you see me!

What is your favorite part of being a band member? I love the impact we have in the BU and Boston community. Whenever the band is performing at an event, it feels like everyone’s faces light up and the energy in the room spikes. It’s really great to see my professors, President Gilliam, Boston Marathon runners, and the Boston community in general listening to and appreciating the band, and it’s a testament to how active we are in the community.
