  1. My daughter, from a small town in Texas, attended and graduated from BU COM. She roomed for 3 years with a young woman from Malaysia, who has become a lifelong friend of hers and our family. Never would she have had that opportunity to know someone like her roommate without the community of BU. It is heartbreaking to see what the current government regime is doing to curtail foreign student enrollment. Thank you BU for standing up for ALL students !

  2. In 1969-70 I attended BU as an international student. It was a time of great social upheaval (Vietnam war) and considerable disruption on campus. I returned home (Canada) with a vastly improved understanding of the issues in the US at the time, and a great respect for BU and the wider city and state for its handling of those difficult times.
I was also able to express a Canadian perspective that I believe made a modest contribution to both academic and social issues.

There is so much to be gained by all through the welcoming of international students!

  3. I am proud that BU’s leadership is supporting our international student population. They are a valuable part of our community. My friendships with international students, as well as my opportunity to study abroad during my time at BU enhanced my education.
