BU Today Is Taking a Short Holiday Hiatus
We’ll resume daily publishing on January 13
BU Today is taking a break, starting after today’s December 21 edition. We’ll resume publishing on Friday, January 13, 2023, with details about the University’s Martin Luther King, Jr. Day celebration and a preview of the dedication of The Embrace, the 20-foot-tall bronze sculpture that’s part of Boston’s memorial initiative to Martin Luther King, Jr. (GRS’55, Hon.’59) and Coretta Scott King—an homage to when King’s wife hugged him after he won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1964. The sculpture will be unveiled and dedicated on the Boston Common on the 2013 MLK holiday weekend.
As always, if there is breaking news or an important update during the break, we will cover it, post the story on our home page, and share it on social media. Enjoy the holidays.
