Want to Help Build a Better BU? Take the DEI Survey
Deadline is Friday, April 2
One way for a big institution like Boston University to become a better place to work is to listen to its employees. But that’s a two-way street. Employees, when given the opportunity to share their opinions—critical or glowing—must speak up. The Korn Ferry diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I) survey—sent to staff last week and available through the end of this week, Friday, April 2—is one such opportunity.
In our 11 videos, with one in Spanish and one in Portuguese, a diverse group of campus voices describe why DE&I work matters to them, and how this survey will help BU. The survey is not only an opportunity for staff to share their experiences, but also a chance for them to have a voice that will lead to changes. All data collected from the survey, which is being administered by global consulting firm Korn Ferry on behalf of BU, is confidential. No one at the University will have access to any individual’s responses. Korn Ferry will share only response rates by school or major department, and their report at the end will describe themes, gaps, and, most important, opportunities for growth.
