Today, the world of J. K. Rowling returns to the big screen when one of the most anticipated films of the fall season—Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald—opens across the country. A sequel to 2016’s hit Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, the new film stars Oscar-winning actor Eddie Redmayne, returning as magizoolgoist Newt Scamander, who again teams up with his mentor and former Hogwarts teacher Albus Dumbledore (Jude Law) to stop evil wizard Gellert Grindelwald (Johnny Depp) before he can destroy the world.
To mark the occasion, BU Today posted a trivia contest earlier today, with one lucky contestant correctly answering the questions below winning two tickets to a showing of the film at AMC Loews Boston Common 19 tonight, Friday, November 16, at 7:15 pm. When the contest closed at 1 pm, the names of those who answered all the questions correctly were entered in a random drawing and a winner was chosen.
The winner is Havva Begum Kabagoz (ENG’22).
