YouSpeak: Looking for a Job
Seniors share their strategies
Good news for graduating seniors: a recent report by the National Association of Colleges and Employers found that employers plan to hire 19.3 percent more recent college graduates this year than last. That means that companies have half the applicants for each job that they had a year ago: 21.1 in 2011 vs. 40.5 in 2010.
In this week’s “YouSpeak,” we asked graduating seniors (and a couple of juniors) about their strategy for finding a job.
“YouSpeak” appears each Monday.
